USB 2.0 to RS232/RS485 Converter Not Detected? Driver Issue Explained & Fixed
In this video, I explain how to fix USB to RS232 / RS485 converter driver issues in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
If your USB converter shows “USB-Serial Controller” error in Device Manager and no COM port appears, this method will solve the problem.
This issue is common with USB, especially devices that are not supported by the latest drivers.
Driver used:
Prolific PL2303 Driver Version 3.3.2.105
