A day in the life at the EUI: The Library
Professor Nikolas M. Rajkovic began his journey as a PhD researcher in the Law Department, marking the start of a 20-year relationship with the Library of the European University Institute (EUI). He has since returned multiple times in various roles, including as a visiting fellow and professor, each time reaffirming his fondness for the EUI and for the Library.
Over the years, his research interests have evolved, but the EUI Library has consistently been a world-class source of information for him. In this video, he explains how its digital collections and holdings are comprehensive, reassuring him that he will either find what he needs or that the librarians will assist in retrieving it from elsewhere. Rajkovic shares how he values the ability to access its materials remotely while abroad, describing the Library as one that “moves with you”. Finally, he highlights how the EUI Library comes with a community that is very committed to advancing interdisciplinary research.
