Make noise 0-ctrl (24 step sequencer mode)
This is one of my favourite ways to create melodies using the 0-ctrl.
In this patch, I have pamela clocking rene (and also sending cv to rene's xmod, affeting clk and run/stop) and rene clocking the 0-ctrl. The pressure output of the 0-ctrl is going into the fun cv of rene (affecting the loc). The pitch/strength/time cv of the 0-ctrl is going into a sequential switch (doepfer a151) and then into the harmonaig quantizer, to give me 24 differently pitched steps, which is sequencing the final output of the DPO.
I then have marbles randomly triggering the direction of the 0-ctrl. The gate output of the last step on the 0-ctrl is switching the sequential switch, so there is a constantly evolving semi random sequencing of the 24 notes. It is quite nice to work (play) like this as. Due to the quantizer, I can twiddle the 0-ctrls pitch/strength/time knobs quite freely and just play around, changing the notes of the sequence in the safety net of the scale set by the harmonaig.
Batumi is providing much of the modulations of the DPO. DPO is going into three sisters, with fm coming from the triangle wave of DPO's first vco, set on lfo mode. It is all finishing in mimeophon.
