Is a camera monitor worth the hype, or is it just an expensive add-on to make your camera look cool? I've filmed without a dedicated external monitor far more than I have with one, however a recent production prompted me to explore the Shinobi II by Atomos.
SPOILER ALERT! I love this thing, but it didn't operate the way I expected it to right out of the box. In this video, I'll share a few challenges with setup and the settings needed to get up and running in no time.
