Major General Hans von Eisenberg was a general in the Wermacht during the Battle of Berlin in 1945. He was in charge of a German Rocket Program involving the V2. He and his team were planning to defect to the Soviet Union, when Germany was on the brink of defeat with the Red Army invading the capital Berlin.
Hans von Eisenberg mission was the remake of the original Martin Bormann assassination mission. Martin Bormann was a real-life figure and deputy to Hitler after Rudolf Hess defected to the British. The defection attempt in-game was based on rumors of Bormann being a Soviet double agent.
