In this video I use the Ch3-57 frequency meter as a meter of engine revolutions and a counter of the number of turns when winding coils.
One of the features of this frequency meter is the ability to measure ultra-low pulse repetition rates, up to 10,000 seconds. Unlike its brother Ch3-54, it has much smaller dimensions with practically the same basic capabilities. Also, the Ch3-57 frequency meter has a very stable reference voltage generator, the same as that of the Ch3-54, thermostatted. Quartz is placed in a Dewar vessel, which greatly increases its stability.
