Sonic rpg episode 10 demo playthrough! (No commentary)
ITS HERE BOIS! Sorta...now I know most of you are gonna be questioning why I’m not doing commentary on this like I normally would for most things. And the answer to that iiiiiiis...life. Yeah things are just going on and I decided to showcase the gameplay and give my thoughts and opinions on the demo. Starting from the top. Note if you don’t want spoilers DO NOT READ THIS! Ok? Ok. Let’s do this!
The cutscenes: While there are only two cutscenes in this demo they both played out incredibly. The art and animation in these cutscenes are fluid, by both midnightmaren and kroy. I can see why Kroy would want to get more into art style animation, it’s suits him quite well. The first cutscene made by midnightmaren himself starting where we last left off at episode 9, where sonic transforms into hyper sonic. Seelkadoom is still cocky even though he knows he’s in for a fight. And might I add, god damn it felt so good hearing Seelkadoom again! Not to mention very, very satisfying to see him get his ass whooped. Lol. Now the second cutscene made by kroy. What can I say? It’s something we all wanted right? Right? RIGHT!? Jk. But seriously though, seeing Seelkadoom, an all powerful being, the main antagonist throughout this game series being knocked around like a volleyball is so what needed to be done. Like finally dude! You can tell that both of them have tried their hardest and put ALOT of hours into these animations. It’s exactly what we need again to fill the void.
Gameplay: the gameplay is just flawless, the animations in each attack and technique were almost like super attacks in dragon ball z dokkan battle. They were so cinematic! That’s how it should be! In my opinion anyway but you know...nobody cares about that...ahem. Hyper Sonic’s move set is practically the same from episode 8, not that I’m complaining about it, it’s exactly what he should have. Every super sonic move replaced with hyper sonic moves, so they got that down to the T. The only thing I really noticed is that in an rpg I’m supposed to make a move then the cpu is supposed to make a move. But instead I made a move but then my menu would pop up THEN Seelkadoom would attack. Also I think I stunned him before? I think? I don’t know. It’s weird. But that’s just a tiny problem wouldn’t worry about too much. Also I tried to get the overdrive during the recording so that’s my b. I’m sure someone will end up getting sooner or later. Well...not too late I hope.
Conclusion: overall this demo is great! It’s probably a perfect interpretation of the actual episode if it were to happen! Except adobe has to be those people and delete adobe flash player next year just cause. But hopefully if adobe decides to make a 180, kroy, Alex and them can finish this game and the series can finally have an ending.
