If you’re working with legacy code, find out how to more easily transform older apps into modern ones. Explore different versions of Visual Studio, see how to build well-architected software, learn how to determine the root cause of bugs, look at performance testing and tuning, and much more.
Now, let’s move towards the course.
In the previous episode we covered:-
Introduction
Design
Debug- overview and demonstration
Test- overview.
In this episode we will cover:-
Test-demonstration
Tune-overview and Tune-demonstration in which we will learn Application performance is critical to the success of nearly all applications. Learn how to use Web Performance testing and Load Testing to find performance bottlenecks and identify opportunities.
And, Release through which we will understand how release management can dramatically simplify the creation of CI/CD pipelines that include build, unit test, package, deploy, and integration testing steps.
So, let’s get started.
Welcome back to the 38th episode of Microsoft hour of code brought to you by millionlights.
As you know we are going to begin with python and flask. We have Susan Ibach and Christopher Harrison from Microsoft to show us how to create webpages.
We will go through the foundation of Flask and Python, explore user input and data storage, and learn to create and retrieve Redis data. We’ll see some demos, from a basic "Hello, world" intro to an Azure deployment, and leave with the website we have built.
Some of you must be thinking what stuffs you can do with python and flask. Well, you can pretty much automate a lot of stuff like schedule your computer to do certain task. If you know flask python framework then you can build a complete clone of any web app you think of.
As we always say that these courses are not only beneficial for students but also for working professionals. So, if you have these skills. You can be software engineer, software developer, data scientist etc. and earn from 5 to 10 lakhs and with experience, you can get more as well.
Before we start the session, be sure to download these free tools: Visual Studio Community and Python Tools for Visual Studio, to get the most out of the course, If you're a student, you have access to Visual Studio Professional 2013, for free, through DreamSpark.
