DTE wants to raise the cost of your energy by 13.9%, which will raise DTE profits by 622 million dollars.

DTE raised rates in November of last year. Not one year ago, not six months ago, DTE raised rates by 1%, earning DTE an additional $ 31 million in profits.

3. Do You Know how much money DTE made last year?
DTE made 19 Billion Dollars in 2022, 25% more in profits in 2021.

4. Do You know the times of day DTE charges you more to use energy?
From 3 pm to 7 pm, DTE charges nearly 30% more than what you usually pay. When you turn on your air conditioner this summer at the hottest time of day, you will pay 30% more in costs.

5. Do You know the State of Michigan decides how much you pay for energy?
The Michigan Public Service Commission approves all rates for all energy companies in Michigan.
