eFootball 0xc00000fd Crash FIX | KERNELBASE.dll Black Screen Solution (Windows 11)
If eFootball opens to a black screen and crashes with KERNELBASE.dll and exception code 0xc00000fd, this fix may help.
In my case, the problem was caused by the Windows Documents folder being redirected through OneDrive. After restoring the Documents path to the normal local Windows location and restarting the PC, eFootball launched successfully.
Fix steps:
Press Win + R
Type regedit
Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
Find the value called Personal
If it points to OneDrive, change it to:
%USERPROFILE%\Documents
Open PowerShell and run:
[Environment]::GetFolderPath('MyDocuments')
Make sure it returns something like:
C:\Users\YourName\Documents
Restart your PC and launch eFootball again.
⚠️ Make a Registry backup before changing anything.
This solution may not work for every crash, but if you have the same KERNELBASE.dll error, 0xc00000fd, and your Documents folder is redirected through OneDrive, it is definitely worth trying.
