Searching for Ivory-billed Woodpeckers with a Drone (Part 2)
With Litchi software, a DJI Phantom drone can be used to cover large areas from just over the treetops. This approach seems promising for searching for Ivory-billed Woodpeckers. This footage was obtained in an area in the Pearl River in Louisiana where these birds were observed in 2006 and 2008.
