No movement is always bad for you or anyone all the time. 🚫⌛
It all depends on when you use it, how you use it, and just about everything else! 🔄🔀
For example, if you've had a history of back pain and bending over to pick things up gives you even more discomfort, a deadlift might not be the ideal exercise for you right now. 😣🏋️‍♀️
But it could be a great goal to work towards! 🎯💪
The deadlift can teach you how to hinge at your hips and minimize strain on your back when bending over. This is a fantastic way to give your back a well-deserved rest and increase the strength in the surrounding structures. 🏋️‍♂️🦵
Relax, lifting with a rounded back won't bring you to your demise, and I'm not suggesting that you must always lift with a perfectly straight spine or face impending doom. 😅⚠️
However, being aware of a few different options can be highly beneficial, especially if one approach isn't working for you at this time. 🔄📚
Most of the time, lifting with a straight back will be more preferable than lifting with a rounded back to varying degrees. 📏📐
So don't be afraid to embrace new knowledge and discover the lifting technique that works best for you. 💪🌟
