Max For Live devices offer expanded flexibility when it comes to music production and sound manipulation. At an Ableton Live User Group hosted by Devotion Gallery, a certified Ableton Live Training Center, New York based cellist and electronic musician Greg Heffernan shares how he uses the All Backwards device to easily reverse segments of a selected audio clip with the touch of a button. He also uses a custom Max For Live device called the Sequence Gator to create elaborate gating patterns across the assign audio clip.
