Massimiliano, an agritourism and agricultural entrepreneur, recounts a disturbing episode that occurred about ten years ago, one June evening, around 10 p.m., near his home in the province of Perugia. There are other people with him, but suddenly something breaks the silence: a fox, along with her cubs, abruptly flees, leaving the cubs behind—an anomalous behavior that immediately puts him on alert.
Instinctively, he looks up the hill and sees it. An entity is slowly descending: it is about four meters long, resembling a snake, but with limbs that don't touch the ground. It seems suspended in the air, moving without making a sound. What strikes him most are the eyes: red, cold, unnatural, more like those of a machine than a living being.
Massimiliano remains motionless, as if captivated by that gaze. A few seconds pass for him, perhaps seven. Then the entity turns and disappears. But when he comes to, the people around him reveal something shocking: about fifteen minutes have actually passed. An inexplicable gap in time, making that encounter even more mysterious and difficult to forget.
