In 1997, the Royal Rumble took place at a stadium for the first time ever! The Alamodome in San Antonio to be exact. This night featured a failed collaboration with AAA, mostly in part to an uninterested crowd. Also featured a lot of confusion and referees ignoring rules all night long, in more ways than one. A truly frustrating event!
Crazy to think we are only 6 days away from the 2024 Royal Rumble event. Got some interesting content on the way. More Rumble sins, the first Losers Lounge Podcast of the year and perhaps some other surprises. We'll see!
