A: First of all, you’re probably a stupid teenager to make a comment like that who is too young and ignorant to know that there was a time when Sonic was #1 not just in gaming, but in entertainment in general. Secondly, I grew up in an abusive household followed by having to be put in the middle between my parent’s post-divorce civil war. My abusive father considered me to be a spy for my mother, and mother always took her boyfriend’s side during household drama who is now my step-father and was a married man that my mother had an affair with during my father’s marriage. Not to mention having to move to a crappy neighborhood and abandon all of my old friends because my mother “didn’t want to risk running into my father at our old friends’ houses.” I also struggled with Depression, Asperger’s Syndrome, OCD, my family favoring my step-brother, social anxiety, bullying, teachers thinking I’m stupid, seeing my parents go to divorce court every other month, blah blah blah. The point is that Sonic was there for me in my time of need. This world failed me, I was so alone, so heartbroken, so scared about the future, there were even times I feared for my father becoming homeless and wanted to commit *self-deletion*. Sonic reminded me of the days of playing on the Sega Genesis with my neighborhood friend that I could no longer visit due to my parent’s selfishness. I don’t care how “bad” the reputaation and quality of Sonic games get, I will always love the character to death. And here's a newsflash, I like other stuff besides Sonic! And, obviously Sonic games aren’t that bad if they still make millions of dollars every year. I doubt you make millions of dollars every year so you obviously suck more than Sonic right? Yes, I am a Sonic fanboy, and yet I'm more successful and more intelligent than you haters.
