Learn how to see the files and directories on your Linux terminal. Show file sizes in human readable format and sort based on time, files size and alphabetical order all with the ls command.

NOTES
ls # lists the contents of the current directory horizontally
ls -l # lists the contents of the current directory in a list format vertically
ls -a # lists the contents of the directory including all hidden files
ls -h # gives a human readable output of file size
ls -l --sort=time # sort by time files were created or modified
ls -lr--sort=time # adding a -r reverses the sort
ls -l --sort=size # lists contents and sorts by file size
