Retirement Socializing on a Fixed Income
Retiring at 50, 60, or beyond can leave aging adults living on a small, fixed income. Too often they think they can't socialize because they don't have the extra income to go out with friends.
In this video, I explore options that you can use to entertain on a very small retirement (or working) budget. There are many options where you can entertain at your home. Additionally, there are some outdoor suggestions, such as gathering a friend, or group of friends, to explore a senior-friendly hiking path. Nature always has a way of lifting the spirits.
From these suggestions, I'm sure you'll discover your friends are as eager to socialize in a somewhat quieter environment than a noisy restaurant and will welcome your invitation to "come by the house" for a good time.
Additionally, if you are beginning to have any type of medical issue that keeps you from "going out & about" then consider staying tuned-in to your friends by hosting a fun "at home" evening of entertainment. You'll be glad you did and so will your friends.
