Guns of Tarkov: Introducing JesseKazam
Here's something we bet you didn't see coming! (Or maybe you did.) Brownells Gun Tech™ Caleb Savant is joined by video gamer, Twitch streamer, and YouTuber Jesse Halteman, aka JesseKazam, to kick off a new video series here on the Brownells channel. Jesse plays video games live on Twitch for an audience, and he makes videos specifically about the game "Escape from Tarkov" on YouTube. For non-gamers watching this, Escape from Tarkov is not your typical arcade "bullet-sponge" shoot 'em up game, according to Caleb. It has WAY more depth to it, and Tarkov is noted for its unusually realistic use of firearms. (For example, your guns have realistic mag capacities that run out - and you don't have infinite reloads.) The average age of Escape from Tarkov players is 25 to 28 years old - well past the "responsible adult gun owner" age threshold. Many players are also involved in real-world shooting sports. And the game has gotten Jesse interested in engaging in the shooting sports, but he's a novice with steel/wood/polymer guns. The good news is we love corrupting.... er, introducing new shooters to the shooting sports here at Brownells.
