✨ Under CAA, individuals belonging to Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, Parsi, and Christian religions, who migrated to India from Muslim-majority Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh before 31 December 2014, are eligible for Indian citizenship if they faced religious persecution. Documentary evidence, such as a passport or other legal documents, is required for the citizenship process. Additionally, refugees without documents can still apply by providing proof of residing in India for more than 6 years.
