Dear God, today I come before you because you, better than anyone, know my problems and can provide solutions. I ask you, Lord, with all the love and respect a child can have for their father, to help me fall asleep.
Holy Father, I ask you to remove from my mind all the worries and problems that overwhelm me and keep me awake.
Help me sleep peacefully this night and every night, dispelling any torment that may creep in. Let your blessing descend upon me like a magical and tender dream.
Allow, Heavenly Father, that your tender light of love illuminate my hours of sleep and grant me a restful sleep so that with each new dawn I may awaken with health, life, and energy to exalt your holy and mighty name.
Lord Jesus, protect and defend me tonight from every bad dream, nightmare, and danger that may approach. Let your light illuminate my dreams, let me dream of your immensity of paradise.
I pray, Lord, that your tranquility may envelop me tonight, that my home may be protected, and that your tender angels may watch over me and ward off all evil. Visit my room tonight, Father, and remove the snares of evil from it, and may your loving blessing remain with me always.
I thank you, Lord, because when I name you, worries, bad dreams, and any presence of anguish and worry that may be in my life disappear. You have covered and blessed me with your mantle so that no evil can disturb my peace. You have removed all evil from this house, leaving only your presence of love and peace in my home.
Here and now, I declare myself blessed and entrusted to you. Thank you, Lord, for guarding my pleasant dreams tonight. Thank you, Lord, for dwelling and ruling over my thoughts.
