Elder Gabriel of Mount Athos' View on Patriarch Kirill
False patriarch, cathedral, pulpit.
His words are like the ringing of brass.
On his wolfish face – sheepish makeup.
But the Holy Spirit is not with him.
Prayer in the heart, Faith, the Cross,
God's Words – the Annunciation –
Tsar-Patriarch, Rus' – the Third Rome!
And the Holy Spirit is in Him and with Him!
