3D Printed Vertical Indexing Mechanism
A 3D printed prototype of a combinatorial vertical lift and indexing mechanism I designed for an upcoming project.
This high speed prototype illustrates the mechanisms ability to provide vertical lift while simultaneously indexing the main wheel steps at 60° increments.
Between the rotary ( • 3D Printed Rotary Indexing Mechanism ) and vertical versions, I like the performance of the vertical lift so I'll use it.

Designed using Autodesk Fusion 360, sliced using Cura 4.4.1, and printed in PLA on an Ultimaker 3 Extended and an Ultimaker S5.
