Zabbix Course. 6. Configuring the Telegram Webhook Alerts
We explored ways to notify Zabbix administrators, focusing on setting up a bot in a Telegram messenger group.
1. We learned about ways to notify Zabbix monitoring system administrators.
2. Using Telegram Webhook, we configured the @moscowzabbixadmin bot to notify members of the Moscow Zabbix Training group about abnormal situations on the Zabbix testbed.
3. We discussed the pros and cons of using Telegram Webhook: all positive, as long as we don't have to switch to another messenger. In any case, platform messages are simply the well-known POST/JSON format, which lends itself well to fine-tuning.
