Davinci Resolve Warp Effect Photo Ripples
Set up a warp effect in Davinci Resolve Fusion to take a static photo and turn it into a dynamic scene with moving waves on a water surface in the image. The photo warp effect is available in Blackmagic Davinci Resolve in the editing tab, but in this tutorial I will show how the warp tool is much more powerful using Fusion. We can create a 3D scene in Fusion to make 3D waves in the image, manipulating the waves by adjusting the settings.
In the second part of the tutorial, I show how to simulate water in Davinci Resolve Fusion. Creating a water plane in Blackmagic Fusion is fairly easy. Setting up transparency and adding the ripple warp provides a stylized realistic aspect to the water surface.
