Squarespace 7.1 Auto Layout Lists: Spotlight Hover Effect (CSS Only)
Want to add subtle interaction to your client's Auto Layout Lists in Squarespace 7.1?
In this video, I’ll show you how to create a quick spotlight hover effect using CSS only, without any special settings needed. When hovering NEAR the cards, everything will fade slightly, and then when hovering over a SPECIFIC card, that one will have its opacity back to normal.
It's a simple customization that can help add something extra to those projects where you want to do more, but don't have the time or energy to spend figuring out what to build.
