Working on this video turned out to be much harder than we expected, but we finally finished it! In this episode, we’ll finally figure out what the Handsome Monkey King actually looked like in the original Journey to the West.
As it turns out, my own idea of his appearance was very different from the original text — even though I studied the novel inside and out to create the most accurate picture of Sun Wukong for our graphic novel.
