In this video we will dive deep in DynamoDB. We will start with what is Dynamo Primary Key, we will look at simple primary key with just partition key, and composite primary key with partition and sort key. Then we will learn how Dynamo stores and reads data in partitions, and why partition key is called partition or hash key and sort key is called sort or range key. Then we will learn how to calculate number of partitions, and dive deep into new features - adaptive capacity and burst capacity.
Finally we will take all the learnings in and go over how to choose Dynamo Primary Key, including techniques like calculated suffix and composite sort key, and other tips and tricks. Timestamps given below
