SHDD 114 - Cartoon Classics Silly Symphonies- live from Disney World - one take no jump cuts - VHS
I really thought I could do this in the middle of a Magic Kingdom crowd and not be self conscious. I definitely was.
I have so people coming up and standing 5 feet in front of me as I recorded this.
The delivery isn’t there, but the thought was. Lol
Silly Symphonies comes in under 22 mins and is a collection of three shorts and this is about as 80s VHS-craze-cash-grab as you can get, but don’t get me wrong- these rare VHS finds bring me great joy. Slapping three random shorts onto a tape with a sleeve and selling it is a long forgotten part of home entertainment history that is never coming back.
Anyway, the journey continues. I upload a new review every Thursday and will continue until my daughter and I run out of VHS tapes so subscribe and come along - I upload ….something every single day.
