Slithering soap bar - adding snake shed to my soap - how and why 🐍 (Read description box)
When Lee from Bath Body Bliss (https://bathbodybliss.com.au) said her son's snake had just shed its skin and did anyone want to try, I jumped at the chance.
Snake skin is full of keratin which adds a glorious feel to soap and makes it feel amazing on skin. It is similar to adding tussah silk, and could be argued that it is a better alternative as some Tussah silk is not sourced ethically. Snakes naturally shed their skin as they grow and this is done without human intervention, and it becomes a waste product. For this reason, I am happy to add this to my soap.
