The ultimate teen status symbol, being in someone's "best friends" Snapchat list, has been eliminated in the latest update of the app -- causing some users to freak out.
For people unfamiliar with the ephemeral messaging service, the public feature allows users to see who the three friends a person sends snaps to most frequently.
The result: The most frequent users no longer know where they stand with their friends.
