When film director Mikhail Romm released the documentary "Ordinary Fascism" in the 1960s, it only played for about two days. Suslov, the Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee for Ideology, seeing the film as a criticism of the Soviet system, asked the director, "Mikhail Ilyich, why don't you like us so much?" Later, Professor Mikhail Voslensky, author of the book "Nomenklatura," wrote: "Romm selected footage from German newsreels of the Hitler era that was striking in its similarity to Soviet reality. The audience responded with bitter laughter to the screening of these footage, accompanied by Romm's voice, thoughtfully reading his commentary." We are finishing a new film... an investigation. It is largely a film about Russia. It attempts to understand the reasons behind what is happening and dispel myths. Viewers will see it starting February 24, 2023. This video can be considered an epilogue...
