Chargebacks are the WORSE, especially when the client is trying to get your product or service for FREE #StayReady
It is important to have your paperwork in order when dealing with credit card companies so you WIN your chargebacks. I have a 95% win percentage so here are some things I do😉

✅ Have your refund policy posted up visibly at your location. Have it in multiple places so your customer can see it.
✅ Have your clients sign a contract that stays “I understand the return policy is……” and keep this contract with their receipt in file folder. I organize mine per month so when I get a chargeback and the credit card company gives me the date of the transaction, I can go straight to that dates file folder
✅ Service provider you need to go an extra step and have a waiver of liability along with your “no refund on services” contracts. Cards like American Express allow chargebacks if their Cluent doesn’t like the result of the services😩😩 So make sure you get a signature stating they understand no refunds.
✅ Everything that is done on paper can also be done digitally so having your refund policy on your website/check out form along with requiring them to check a box that they agree with the terms in a MUST!!
✅ Last but not least, the name on the card MUST match the name of the person for in store purchases. All that this my husband , boyfriend card…. #NoMaam🚫 That is a chargeback waiting to happen. Trust me, these clients are sliiiccckkkkk🤬
