In the latest episode of "We Will Return", our team met with former investigator for especially important cases of the Investigative Committee of Belarus Ihar Loban. He spoke out against Lukashenko's regime - condemned the violence after the presidential elections in 2020. The main and fundamental topic of this episode is to find out why some security officials supported Lukashenko, while others went over to the side of the people. We talked about how the BYPOL initiative was created, why not a single criminal case was opened in Belarus for abuse of power by the police during the dispersal of protests, and we also learned more about the future security officials of the new Belarus.
