If your Samsung M21 is stuck on the logo and not booting up properly, you can try the following solutions to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Force Restart: Press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button together for about 10-15 seconds until the device restarts. This will perform a forced reboot and might help to get past the logo screen.
Remove External Memory Card: If you have an external memory card inserted, try removing it and then restart the phone. Sometimes, a corrupted memory card can cause booting issues.
Boot into Safe Mode: Boot the phone into Safe Mode to check if a third-party app is causing the problem. To do this, press and hold the Power button, then long-press the "Power Off" option until the "Safe Mode" prompt appears. Tap "OK" to boot into Safe Mode. If the phone boots up successfully in Safe Mode, it indicates that a third-party app is the culprit.
Clear Cache Partition: Sometimes, outdated or corrupted cache files can cause booting issues. You can try clearing the cache partition by following these steps:
a. Turn off the device.
b. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons together until the Samsung logo appears.
c. Release the Power button but continue holding the Volume Up button until the recovery menu appears.
d. Use the Volume Down button to navigate to "Wipe cache partition."
e. Press the Power button to select the option.
f. Confirm the action by selecting "Yes."
g. Once the process is complete, choose "Reboot system now."
Factory Reset: If none of the above solutions work, performing a factory reset can help in resolving software-related issues. Note that this will erase all data on your phone, so ensure you have backed up important data before proceeding.
a. Turn off the phone.
b. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons together until the Samsung logo appears.
c. Release the Power button but continue holding the Volume Up button until the recovery menu appears.
d. Use the Volume Down button to navigate to "Wipe data/factory reset."
e. Press the Power button to select the option.
f. Navigate to "Yes" and confirm the action.
g. Once the reset is complete, select "Reboot system now."
If the problem persists even after trying the above solutions, it might indicate a more serious hardware issue. In that case, it's best to take the phone to an authorized Samsung service center for further diagnosis and repair.
