By request, this is the fourth, and final upload of my surfday video. I made a minor edit (deleted a scene) so that the video would be different than the others (YouTube will not allow uploading the same video more than once). The video was edited with DaVinci Resolve in a 1080p/29.97fps timeline and then rendered (Delivered) with Master presets with the following selections:
mp4
Cineform Codec
Resolution: 3840x2160 4K
Quality: Best
and the following selected:
Retain sub-black and super-white
Use Optimized Media
Force Sizing to Highest Quality
Force Debayer to Highest Quality
The actual render time was about 7 minutes on my laptop (Alienware m15 r2: 9th Gen i7, RTX 2060) but YouTube is taking HOURS to render the video on their site.
The actual raw video looks gorgeous on my computer, but I have no idea what YouTube will do to it after recompiling and compressing the video. VLCD and Windows Media Player couldn't pay the video smoothly and QuickTime was unable at all. However, I was able to play the video perfectly with the new GoPro Player (currently in Beta as I write this).
Please leave any Questions, Ideas, or Suggestions in the Comments. Also, I really appreciate the subscriptions. Only need
about 800 more to get to 1,000 🤞😆
If they are any videos I can make to help you with your GoPro cameras, please let me know and I'll do my best for you.
