Laurence Lau (Brian Wheatley) is returning! The recently outed ex of Lucinda returns to the scene. He is back to mend some fences and make up for some things. It also gets Luke involved with the Foundation again. (soapcentral.com)
Brian will return to Oakdale for one day on March 12th. He takes part in a meeting about the foundation with Lily and Noah, and shares a pleasant reunion with Lucinda. (SNS)

Daytime Confidential Top 20 soap actors (And Yes! This is a popularity contest)
Jake Silbermann was the only As the World Turns star to earn a Daytime Confidential Top 20 ranking in 2008. He appeared at No. 19 on the 2008 August list. Now he returns to list, up three spots from his last ranking, at No. 16.
Van Hansis never appeared on the Daytime Confidential Top 20 in 2008, but he's starting 2009 out strong at No. 11 on our list.

Yes, Here is yet another fan popularity contest. With all the popularity of Van and Jake and the couple, Luke and Noah, why have the people in charge not realized what they have and used them more? Two other couples from ATWT are also on the list. Emily and Casey and Holden and Carly were popular with their fans but were dropped for plot points and two returning characters, on of which should have remained dead, Dusty Donovan and Craig Montgomery.

Van Hansis has been pre-nominated for a Daytime Emmy (again) for playing groundbreaking gay character Luke Snyder on As the World Turns. Billy Magnussen, who plays Casey "Butters" Hughes, was also pre-nommed for Best Younger Actor, which was Vans category until he aged out of it this past year. That means that Casey, who is suppose to be a year and a half older than Luke, is played by Billy who is really a year or two younger than Van. Whats my preoccupation with actors ages?

The roles of fraternal twins Zac and Zoe have been cast on As the World Turns. Nicholas Galbraith plays Zac. Melinda Sullivan plays Zoe. Zac may become a part of a triangle with Luke and Noah. Galbraith in 24, Jake is 25 and Van is 27 but Their characters are 19, almost 20. Zoe may be a new interest for Casey. Zac and Zoe start airing on Wednesday, April 1. There I go about ages again!
