The Next Tycoon is the brainchild of W. Cliff Oxford, one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the country. The Next Tycoon is a reality television business-plan competition pitting the business ideas of promising entrepreneurs against a panel of critical judges, and a live studio audience on the CBS 46 broadcast network.
The first show was judged by Dr. Benn Konsynski, professor at Emory Goizueta Business School; Salmeh Fodor, a partner with Marchman & Kasraie, LLC; and John Sands, founder of Marjohni, Inc. The Panel of Hard Knocks was comprised of Rania Skef, Bethany Vincent, and Mark Latham.
The first episode is scheduled to air on CBS 46 in Atlanta. The show has also been picked by the new national cable channel, the MAV Network.
