Journaling is a fun and useful activity . Many people do it to keep track of their routine while others do it to release stress. No matter the reason journaling has a lot of potential benefits including improving your mental health, increasing communication skills, improving problem solving skills, improved memory, stress reduction and many more.
However in this day and age the world is moving away from papers to a more digital environment so it was only natural for people to move towards digital journaling as well. This is why people these days usually prefer to have digital journals in their computer.
Notepad is one of the basic programs you can use to journal your thoughts and day, One issue that people face with journaling is to manually write date and time every time they have to make an entry However what if there was a way to get that automated. . There is no way around it when you are on a hard journal but when you are working on a computer you can easily automate the date and time of your journal.
One of the best things about automating date and timestamps is that you don’t have to write rounded off time manually it will give you the exact time. So for example if you were writing the journal at lets say 07:22PM you would get the exact 07:22PM. This is useful for people who take time management very seriously.
Note: In the video I have closed down the notepad and opened it multiple times only to show how it works. You can keep it open until you are done writing your entry. I use SAVE option for the purpose of the video you can use the shortcut CTRL + S
If you follow the steps mentioned in this video every time you open the journal the exact date and time of that specific instance will be already mentioned in the notepad. You can edit it and even delete it if you want.
