Hey YouTube Fam, In This Episode We're Going To Share With You How We Made The BEST EVER MEXICAN TACO LASAGNA! My Seasoned Refried Beans Takes This Dish To New Heights!

MEXICAN TACO LASAGNA With SEASONED REFRIED BEANS Recipe & Instructions:

Ingredients

80/20 Or 70/30 Ground Beef: 2 Pounds
Taco Seasoning Packets: 2 Ounces (Or 1 Ounce Per Pound Of Ground Beef. If Using 2 lbs, Use 2 Packets)
Refried Beans: 1 Can (can substitute with Kidney Beans or Black Beans)
Monterey Jack Cheese: 1 Pound
Sharp Cheddar Cheese: 1 Pound (you can use a milder version if you like)
Seasoning Salt: 1 Teaspoon
Garlic Powder: 2 Teaspoons
Onion Powder: 2 Teaspoons
Salsa: Desired Amount
Sour Cream: Desired Amount
Guacamole: Desired Amount
Olive Oil Spray Or Olive Oil: Just A Tiny Bit
Water: 2/3 Cup Per Pound Of Ground Beef (For This Recipe You'll Need 1 1/3 Cups Total)

Mexican Taco Lasagna Instructions

1.) Preheat Oven To 375F Degrees.
2.) Start Shredding Your 1 Pound Of Monterey Jack Cheese & Your 1 Pound Of Sharp Cheddar Cheese.
3.) Start Out By Cooking Your 2 Pounds Of Ground Beef.
4.) Once Ground Beef Starts To Turn Brown Drain It Pretty Thoroughly!
5.) Then Add 2 Teaspoons Of Garlic Powder, 2 Teaspoons Of Onion Powder, 1 Teaspoons Of Seasoning Salt & Mix In Well.
6.) Then Add Your 2 Ounces Of Taco Seasoning (Or 2 Taco Seasoning Packets) To The Ground Beef. (Your Choice Spicy, Hot, Or Mild!)
7.) Add 2/3 Cup Of Water Per Pound Of Ground Beef. Since This Recipe Requires 2 Pounds Of Beef, You’ll Need 1 1/3 Cups Of Water.
7.) Cook On Medium High Heat, Bring To A Boil, Once it Starts Boiling Reduce Heat & Let Simmer For 3 To 4 Minutes Uncovered. This Will Completes The Ground Beef Cooking Process. Take Off Heat & Set Beef To The Side.

REFRIED BEANS INGREDIENTS & INSTRUCTIONS

Refried Beans: 1 Can
Butter: 1 Tablespoon
Olive Oil: 2 Tablespoons
Onion: 1 Small Onion (Or 1/2 Of A Large Onion)
Garlic Cloves: 5
Pepper: 1 Teaspoon
Salt: 1/2 Teaspoon
Cayenne Pepper: 1/2 Teaspoon
Mozzarella: 3/4 Cup
Cilantro: 2 Tablespoons
Chicken Broth: 3/4 Cup
Lime: Squirt

Instructions

1.) Dice 1 Small Onion (Or 1/2 Of A Large Onion)
2.) Slice 5 To 6 Fresh Garlic Cloves.
3.) Add 2 Tablespoons Of Olive Oil To Pan On Medium Heat.
4.) Add 1 Tablespoon Of Butter To Pan & Let Melt.
5.) Add 1 Small Onion To Pan On Medium Heat & Sauté Until Soft.
6.)Add Sliced Garlic Cloves To Pan & Sauté Until Soft.
7.) Add One 16oz Can Of Refried Beans To Pan &
8.) Add 1/2 Teaspoon Of Salt & 1 Teaspoon Of Pepper& 1/2 Teaspoon Of Cayenne Pepper To The Refried Beans.
9.) Add 3/4 Cup Of Chicken Broth To Refried Beans.
10.) Add 2 Tablespoons Of Cilantro To Beans & Mix In.
11.) Add 3/4 Cup Of Mozzarella To Refried Beans.
12.) Give A Squirt Of Lime To Refried Beans & Mix In.

ASSEMBLING YOUR TACO LASAGNA

1.)) Next Grab Your 9”x13” Casserole Baking Dish & Grease It Very Lightly Using Olive Oil Spray Or A Napkin Or Paper Towel With A Little Bit Of Olive Oil On It, Coat The Baking Dish Very Lightly With It.
2.) Layer Tortillas At The Bottom Of The Baking Dish. Cut Or Rip Tortillas To Fill In The Gaps Of Baking Dish That’s Not Covered.
3.). Add 1 Pound (or half) Of The Cooked Ground Beef To The Baking Dish, Make Sure It’s Spread Evenly & Covers The Whole Bottom Of Baking Dish.
4.) Add Half Of Your Refried Beans On Top Of The Ground Beef, Spread Evenly Throughout.
5.) Start Adding & Spreading 5.3oz Of Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Then 5.3oz Of The Monterey Jack Shredded Cheese, On Top Of The Ground Beef & Beans. This Will Be The 1st Layer Of Cheese.
6.) Add Another Layer Of Tortillas. Again, Cut Or Rip Tortillas To Cover & Fill In Any Exposed Gaps.
7.) Add Your Final Pound Of Ground Beef (the last half) To The Dish, Placing & Spreading Evenly On To Of The Tortillas. Again, Make Sure It’s Spread Evenly.
8.) Add You Your Remaining Refried Beans & Place On Top Of The Beef, Distribute & Spread Evenly.
9.) Add 5.3oz More Of Your Monterey Jack Cheese, & 5.3oz More Of The Cheddar Cheese On Top Of Your Ground Beef & Refried Beans.
10.) Add Another Layer Of Tortilla, Making Sure That It’s Fully Covering Any Open Gaps, This Will Be The Final Layer!
11.) Then Finish By Adding The Rest Of The Monterey Jack Cheese As Well As The Cheddar Cheese.
12.) Bake At 375F Degrees For 20 To 25 Minutes Depending On Your Oven, Or Until Your Cheese Has Melted & Has A Nice Color To It. If The Desired Color Is Not There After 25 Minutes, Turn On Your Oven Broiler For 1 To 3 Minutes To Get The Desired Color That You Want. (Make Sure You Keep An Eye On It, That’s A Must, Don’t Want To Over Broil It, For That Could Be Disastrous!)
13.) Let Cool For 5 To 10 Minutes, Then Cut Into Slices Just Like You Would When Cutting Into An Italian Lasagna.
