Probably the worst thing you may come across when working with blender 3d is you want to manipulate the views, zoom in and out in blender, pan the view, or even move around in blender and so forth, but only have a laptop with a keyboard that doesn't have a numeric keypad (numpad).
That's a big problem, because that numpad that is supposed to be alongside your keyboard is going to play a big role in the way you work in blender 3d, and without it, well things can get somewhat difficult if you don't know exactly how to get around a problem like this.
Hopefully that's not a problem anymore because you can emulate the Numpad using the ordinary top row numbers available on any laptop and in Today's blender tutorial we're going to learn a nice little option that we can change in our blender program and that will make your life much easier and make your laptop fully functional for what you wanna do and create in the future.
