Garmin Vivoactive 4 Venu - How To Use And Download Pre-Defined Workouts
In this video, I’ll show you how to access the out of the box preloaded workouts for certain activities on your Garmin Vivoactive 4 or Garmin venu. Actually you’ll find this available for most Garmin watches, however note that you might just have the workout steps available depending on your watch features.
Garmin has pre-loaded a number of workouts for run, bike, strength, cardio and yoga activities. You can also find and download additional workouts from Garmin Connect on your smartphone on top of creating custom workouts yourself.
To find the workouts available on your device, simply PRESS on the START button and SWIPE UP to view the activity menu. You should see WORKOUTS at the top of the list.
You should see cardio workouts listed, TAP to view the overview of each workout. You can do the following:
1. DO or CANCEL the workout.
2. VIEW the steps
3. Delete the workout
Once you select DO WORKOUT, then PRESS on the START button to start your workout activity.
Next, lets take a look at how you can find and download a workout on Garmin Connect when paired to your smartphone.
1. TAP on MORE | TRAINING | WORKOUTS
2. TAP on FIND A WORKOUT
From here you can filter the list of available workouts based on your ability and duration. Once you’ve found a workout you want on your device, simply TAP to view the workout overview and TAP on the SAVE MY WORKOUTS button. You will notice TWO icons show up at the TOP RIGHT. The three dots will allow you to edit the workout (now that you’ve made a copy into your MY WORKOUTS sections, and the SEND TO DEVICE icon. Once paired with a smartphone, once you tap on the icon, it will queue the workout to be on your device the next time you sync.
from there you should be able to see the new workout on your activity workout list.
