Since Excel 2007, the Excel interface has been presented in the form of a ribbon that groups all of Excel's commands, categorized into main subgroups (called ribbon tabs). The ribbon replaces the menu bar we knew from older versions of the spreadsheet program.
By default, the buttons for accessing commands are organized into seven tabs (excluding the File tab, which replaces the old Office button in the top left corner).
