Tutorial on Making a Release Model at Shutterstock
There are many things that must be considered when submitting photos and footage to Shutterstock. One of the important things is the Model Release.
If our content contains identifiable individuals, it is mandatory to make a "certificate" so that our photos can be accepted for the commercial category.
This “Certificate” contains the identity of the photographer, model and witness.
Well, this "Certificate" is called a Model Release.
The purpose of the model release is to protect photographers from lawsuits over the publication of photos with their faces on them.
So, in this video, I'm going to share what is a release model? Model release requirements, examples of photos that require a model release, reasons for rejection related to the release model, and how to make a model release on Shutterstock.
