The scene is the smallest unit you can use to play a song or song section. The Scene is organized in Layers, that are hosting your Hardware or Software instruments.
The Scene has a proprietary Smart Switch that does not interrupt the audio generated by the software instruments and also does not interrupt any MIDI communication.
