Discord is Increasing the Server Limits...
Discord is adding new Discord Nitro Features for the $10 Discord Nitro Boost tier! These include many current Discord Beta Features, we have already covered; Discord Profile Customisations which have a new Discord Profile Banner and an About Me Section, Discord Server Identities allowing people to change their identity and avatar on different Discord Servers and in this video I cover how Discord are doubling the Server Cap from 100 servers to 200 servers in a new feature twist!
All of these features are Discord Nitro based, which is great as Epic Games has just teamed up with Discord to give everyone Free Discord Nitro for 3 months. I believe this is part of Discord’s plan to push out nitro with these new features and more people being able to try it out for three months! It is only one of a series of changes they have made recently; with longer messages, profile changes, a new Discord Badge and more! It really seems they’re trying to changing the platform to be more modern, and I will let you know about these changes along the way.
Currently these features are only accessible by a limited amount of people, with Discord Employees, Discord Mods, Discord Partners mainly being the collection of users; however some general members also have access. This video is part of my new feature mini series! I will cover each of them over the next week.
I believe this new feature is great as you will be able to join servers you previously couldn’t, and might be able to join more of your favourite YouTuber communities! In the background I am playing Minecraft 1.8.9 on Hypixel, and we are specifically playing Bed Wars. I am debating to make an SMP in the summer, and steam on it as well as use it for background footage?
