Only the top-spec Platinum model gets Toyota's new Hybrid Max setup, which combines a turbocharged 2.4-litre four-cylinder with an electric motor on the rear axle for a total of 340 horsepower. The XLE and Limited have a CVT, while the Platinum has a six-speed automatic; all-wheel drive is standard on all trims. Rest assured because A 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen is standard across the lineup, and it runs Toyota's most recentsoftware interface. Apple Car Play and Android Auto are also built into the infotainment software, which connects to smartphones via Bluetooth. The Crown also includes conveniences like a wireless smartphone charging pad, onboard Wi-Fi, and USB-C ports. Talking about its speakers, The base XLE trim has a six-speaker stereo, but the Limited and Platinum trims have an 11-speaker JBL stereo. But the JBL stereo failed to impress us during our first Crown drive because it lacked the richness of the Avalon's setup.

The 2023 Toyota Crown is expected to arrive at Toyota dealerships like ours in Winter 2022. We’ve yet to hear of a specific day, but a steady trickle of details is coming out according to which it will officially be released in early 2023, but the exact date is yet to be announced.
