Clearing Cache via Settings
Open Settings – Swipe down from the top of your screen to access Quick Settings, then tap the gear icon, or find the Settings app in your app drawer (
Go to Apps – Scroll to “Apps” or “Applications.” On some devices, you may need to select Storage Apps to see the list
Select the App – Tap the app you want to clear. If the app is sluggish or taking up significant storage, you can start with that app
Tap Storage or Storage & Cache – You’ll see information about the storage usage of the app
Clear Cache – Tap Clear cache to delete temporary files without affecting login information, settings, or personal data. Repeat for other apps as needed
Clearing Browser Cache
Google Chrome: Open Chrome, tap the three dots → History → Clear browsing data, select Cached images and files, choose the time range, then tap Clear data
Other browsers (Firefox, Edge, etc.): Similar steps through Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data, selecting cached files to delete
