Difference between RBE2 and RBE3 elements, using a simple beam example.
The resulting forces and/or displacements can be verified by the provided formulas. Be aware that in the CC the units are in mm and the formulas use SI units eg. m. For the RBE2 results the displacement should be entered in the F formula using the appropriate E-modulus, returning almost the same values as the reaction forces. For the RBE3 the different displacements should be entered in the F formula and the appropriate E-modulus the results should be near 500N just like the reaction forces.
