Big money doesn't just pay.
Sailors are the breadwinners of their families, as well as INVESTORS of the country in which they live.
Working at sea is an honest and legal way to earn money.
Sailors take their honestly earned money back to their country and spend it there, and this money (currency) remains in the country and works for the country's economy, for the benefit of the people.
